Can anybody vouch for you?
Certainly! I’ll be more than happy to send you a list of contacts upon request. Though I do ask that you request only if seriously considering me for a position. The people I have worked with and for are typically very busy.
Are you a veteran?
I proudly served for 6 years (from 1984 until 1990) in the US Navy. Bootcamped in Great Lakes and did training in Orlando. My primary assignment was aboard the USS Caloosahatchee (AO-98). We fortunately didn’t see any hostile action, but did manage to do a lot of circles in the Mid-Atlantic and Mediterranean. Ask me about crossing the equator…most of the rumors are true.
I thought your name is “William”?
It is my first name, but we have a family history of going by our middle names, thus my preference for “Patrick.” This does make it easier to identify telemarketers when they ask for “Bill.” Also, it’s “Patrick,” not “Pat.”
Where are you from?
Born and raised in NC and other than the few years in the Navy, I’ve lived here all my life. I hail from Raleigh and still claim that as “home”.
What else can you do?
I’m a pretty decent photographer though the passion has been put on the shelf the past few years. I’ve been published in a national magazine, won some competitions, seen in a few local publications, and had a show or two. And no, I don’t do weddings. I did manage to spend half a year building a tintype camera from scratch.
Which sport(s) do you follow?
Pass.
What’s your stance on serial commas?
I have been and will always be a proponent of the Oxford Comma. Also, don’t get me started on Comic Sans…
Where do you want to be in 5 years?
I have discovered that at no point in time have my predictions spanning 5 years has even been close. I do prefer stability but am always open to opportunities and experiences.
What is your desired compensation?
Desired? $1,000,000 per year. However, for you I will be willing to negotiate!
